There has been alot of coverage over the new Skittles website. This removes the need for web designers (sorry Matt!) and places links to external websites and services that store their information. Their front page is a search for skittles using Twitter, their about page is the Skittles Wikipedia and the videos page links to YouTube.
As seen below, anyone can put anything on their Twitter and it appears on their website.

The top entry at the time of writing was a link to this blog. Now, is this a brave or a stupid thing to do? To essentially hand the brand over to students to misuse? (Technically, I misused this service. But I am not a student….anymore). Only time will tell I suppose. But now I am off to buy some of my favourite sweets…
Updated: 75% more people saw this website due to being on the Skittles homepage for 5 minutes. Albeit this is site does not have much in the way of heavy traffic.
